Does my existing flat roof have to be completely stripped?

The long-term durability of your new Topseal roof depends on attention to detail, quality workmanship and Cotswold Fibreglass Roofing Ltd’s thorough, methodical approach to the work.

Taking great care at all times

That’s why we’ll strip the old roof back to the original joists, check the condition of timbers, and then renew the roof decking with high quality (OSB3) tongue-and-groove oriented strand board. And of course, you can be sure we’ll take great care to keep the new decking dry before installing your new Topseal GRP roof.

If the existing roof suffers from poor drainage, we’ll also install timber fitting-pieces to the existing joists to give a suitable fall to the new deck.

Many installations are completed in one day

For many jobs, such as a standard garage, we’d expect to complete all the work in one day, thereby minimising on-site disruption to your life and enabling you to use your newly refurbished garage as soon as possible. We’ll take all the old roofing materials away and dispose of them for you, leaving your property as tidy as we found it.
